Effie was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 4, 1936, to Robert & Lorrainne Huggler. She is preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband, Jerry Hoffmann, former owner of Hoffmann Excavating.
Survivors include her brother, Richard Huggler of Lincolnton, NC, nephew Jeff (Crystal) Huggler of Dallas, NC, niece Julie (Jim) Baumann, nephew Mark Huggler, niece Suzie (Steve) Smith, and best friend Marcia Dhonau, all of Indiana, numerous great nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, December 20th at Crown Hill Funeral Home with visitation from 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.act.alz.org.
