Eldia Mae Owensby

Eldia was born in Liberty, KY to Hubert and Marie Summers. She was employed as a cafeteria manager in the Greenwood School System.She married Paul Owensby in 1963. They formed the gospel group with their two sons The Owensby Family, traveling and performing throughout the United States for many years.Eldia worshipped at the First Separate Baptist Church in Indianapolis.Eldia is survived by her loving husband Paul, sons; Rev. Rick(Shannon)Owensby and Brian(Tammy)Owensby.

Eldia is also survived by three brothers; Travis(Lou), Dayton(Charmain) and Junior Summers, three sisters; Letia(Jack)Mason, Betty(Paul) Haney and Brenda Gater. Eldia also leaves behind her two precious grandsons; Zach and Garrett.

Friends may call on Monday, August 22, 2011 from 4-8 p.m. in Little and Sons Funeral Home Stop 11 Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 in the First Separate Baptist Church, 25 E.
