Mrs. Elizabeth L. Gunn, 80, Indianapolis, transitioned from labor to reward on April 11, 2016.She was a member of New Garfield Missionary Baptist Church where she served for many years on the Usher Board and had been the Usher Board President. She also was a retired Mail Clerk from the United States Postal Service.She was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo Gunn;parents, Edward Hunter, Sr. and Catherine Clayton Garr;son, Brian O. Gunn and sister, Shirley Williams.Mrs. Gunn leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life, children: Sheila R. Gunn, Denise Hopkins, Ken Gunn,Keith Gunn, Douglas Wilkins and Cory McGregor; siblings: Michael Hunter, Edward Hunter, Jr., Mary L. Bates Bey and Georgia Hunter; brothers in law: Walter Gunn and George Gunn; sister in law, June Butler; 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends. The visitation is Saturday, April 16, 2016, 9am - 11am, with the service at 11am in New Garfield Missionary Baptist Church. Theentombment is in Lincoln Memory Gardens.
