Ellis Eaton, 84of Indianapolis, passed away September 29, 2018.Ellis was retired as an Engineer at Bethlehem Steel in Gary, Indiana following many years of dutiful service. A lover of music, Ellis played the guitar and the flute. His favorite genres of music included classical and jazz guitar. He was also an avid reader of non-fiction and enjoyed traveling the states with his family. Left to cherish Ellis’ legacy is his daughter, Bettina Davis (Raymond); sister, Senotie E. Wills; dearest friend, Bertha Hardaway; and a host of loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Celebration of life memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home Peoples Chapel. Friends may greet the family there from 4 p.m. until service time.
