Aunt Emily,
The fates took me away from all of my family at a really young age...so, I never got to be raised around you😢
Through it all, I've never forgotten how much you loved me & how you prayed for me. All the memories I have of you were always awesome!!! (Well, besides the garage door & Sean's leg...!) I have & will always love you,
I'm so very sorry that I couldn't spend more time with y'all the few times we were able to visit!
Give my momma a big hug from me, ok?

Mom, how can I share just one memory. You’re in every memory. Because even when you weren’t with me making memories I could always talk to you about it. I miss you mom. My heart aches. God knows, He has been carrying me. I just don’t know how I can ever not feel the way I’m feeling. Thank you mom, thank you for my life, thank you for leading me to the Lord, thank you for our friendship. I miss you every minute of every day. I love you so much! Hug those beautiful people in heaven for me. I can’t wait to see Jesus standing next to you.
Love, your daughter Dawn

I was pregnant with your grandson Levi Barton when I met you sixteen years ago. I remember your way of welcoming me to the family. You were always kind to me, and spoke with words of inspiration and frankness. I know that our father in Heaven has welcomed you to his eternal life as you welcomed me into the family. May the Lord bless your family and give them peace and comfort. Em, you will be missed.

Love,
JaceAnn Troutt

You came into my life like a storm...literaly that day! It was that storm that showed me your love for family, friends, children and above all, your savior, Jesus Christ. It was with that same stormy compassion I grew to know you and love you. You accepted me and my family as your own, so much room in that heart of yours. I will truly miss those times we bickered together, just to laugh together and sometimes let others wonder. I Love you Emily...Sleep with Angels.
