Erasmo is survived by his wife, Ludivina Morales; his daughter Ishly Gamez (Jose Gamez); his son Ivan Silos (Carmen Casas); and his daughter Erica Landeros; his granddaughter D'alessandra Gamez, his grandson Dominic Gamez, his granddaughter Dazani Silos-Casas and his granddaughter Reina Gamez.
Erasmo was preceded in death by his grandson Xavier Gamez.
Erasmo was a joyful person who left his family many happy memories. Some of these memories include him listening to music in his garage and singing karaoke very loudly and passionately. He also reserved a special place in his heart for his beloved pet dog Coco.
Erasmo was a hard working man who loved to garden and take care of his lawn. He was also known as "Apa" to his grandchildren whom he loved very much. Erasmo and his wife Ludivina had been married for 35 years and had been going strong since 1988. The two met in California and would enjoy frequent visits to Mexico.
A public visitation for Erasmo will be held Monday, April 7, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, April 8, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
Erasmo will be laid to rest in West Ridge Park Cemetery, 9295 W 21st St, Indianapolis, IN 46234.
