OBITUARY
Eric Michael Jones
February 1, 1986 – April 3, 2021
Eric Michael Jones
35, of Indianapolis, passed away on April 3, 2021. Eric loved cars, trucks, motorcycles and bicycles! He was a huge sports fan and especially loved the Red Sox. He was his own "sports caster" and called the game as it went. Eric was always willing to put his needs aside to help others. He often gave more of his heart then others probably deserved, but, he didn't care, he was so very humble and loved everyone. Eric was dedicated to his work at UPS and previously with Paul's Trailer Service. He loved the lord and let his faith lead the way. Eric was so very excited to become a first time "Daddy" to his beautiful daughter later this summer, Amelia Ruby Faye Jones.
Eric is survived by his loving wife; Brianna N. Jones, daughter; Amelia Ruby Faye Jones (arriving later this summer), parents; Stephen R. Jones Sr. and Andrea J. Jones, brothers; Stephen R. (Kelli) Jones Jr. and Matthew L. Jones, mother-in-law; Julie LaPoint along with her fiancé Joel, father-in-law; Kevin Petree, brother-in-laws; Levi (Stephanie) Petree and Tyler Petree, along with nieces and nephews; Samantha, Park, Kendall, Ethan and Coen.
Eric was preceded in death by his grandparents; Roy Lee and Doris Jean Jones, Andrew L. and Margaret Faye Blackburn, uncle; Tom Sloan and great-uncle; Eddie Dunbar.

I had the pleasure of working part-time from 2017 to 2018 with Eric M. Jones at Paul's Trailer Service in the business office. He was chosen to train me (sorry about that Eric)I figured out later, that it was because of his gift of patience!
Thank you Eric!
You have gone to Heaven way too soon and way too young.
You will be truly missed by your Friends, Family and Anyone Whoever Got to Meet You and Know you.
You are resting in God's Arms now to take care of You.

Andrea and family, my heart was saddened to hear of the passing of Eric. I worked with him a time or two at the shelter. He was genuinely a kind soul. He was taken to soon, too young. My prayers for you and your family. May God give you the strength during these difficult days.
