44, of Indianapolis died at home peacefully on Monday, March 7, 2011 after a long fight against lung cancer. He was born January 15, 1967 in Indianapolis. He was a skilled carpenter and loved the outdoors; four wheeling, camping and fishing in the Hoosier National Forest were his favorites. Eric also loved golf, cheering for his beloved Indianapolis Colts and flying helicopters with his dad and son Cory.
He is survived by his loving family: wife Kellie L. (Balding) Norman, daughter Jessica and son Cory. Also surviving are his parents, Marv and Carol Norman, Grandparents Wayne and Edna Sikkema, sister Robin (Will) Snider, nephew Zachary Norman, niece Stephanie Norman and the Honyok Nation. Eric was preceded in death by his brother Mark Norman. A Memorial service for Eric will be held on Saturday, March 19 at Christ's Community Church on Allisonville Road in Fishers with visitation from 11:00 -2:00 and the service at 2:00 followed by a time of sharing.
