

Erik served in the United States Army from 1992-1996. He served in Germany as radar tech for patriot missles. He received his A&P through Vincennes University and he received a bachelors in aeronautical science from Purdue university graduating in 2002 . He worked in the concrete business for 29 years from driving to supervising.
Erik had a passion for aviation and received his pilots license in 2019. He often would fly his Cessna, visiting many different states, such as Michigan, Tennessee and Wisconsin for Oshkosh. He was an avid Purdue fan, as well as a sports fan. He enjoyed playing basketball, football and even golf. His interests were also creative, he loved to play guitar and listen to music. Even recently became a large fan of theme parks. Erik was an English Bulldog lover, to which he had a few over the years (Gnocchi and Winston.) Erik was a great friend and father who brought joy into to the lives of so many people.
Erik was loved by many. He had two children Zachary and Aaron (wife Chase.) His grandson Jett. As well as his own father Clark Cohee and his wife Mary and her son Emerson. His mother the Late Linda Cohee. His fiancé Shawna, her two children Lucy and Logan. His siblings David, Kristina, Clarkie (Wife Marie) and Candi Clements.
On November 7th, Erik was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. He fought hard and was always surrounded by loved ones. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
A Celebration of Erik's life will take place at 1:00 PM, Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Family Funeral Care, 5791 Rockville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46224 with military funeral honors to follow. Inurnment will be in the Crown Hill Annex National Cemetery Friday, June 6, 2025.
