Ernest Swihart

Ernest was in Foster Care as a child and then transitioned into Supportive residential and employment services where he lived out the rest of his years. Ernie had many jobs including working at Wendy’s, Goodwill Industries, Noble Work Crews, and cleaning at a local Church.

Ernie loved being with people whether it was Bowling for the Trailblazers Bowling league or hanging out with friends and family. Ernie was an active member of the Hollis Adams Foundation which provides social events and travel for people with Developmental Disabilities.

Ernie is survived by his buddy Jaime and “adopted family” Brett and Karla Hodge, Abby and Aiden Thompson, Stephanie Boggess, Melissa and Curtis Shaw, and all the grandkids, Maddox, Macy, and Riley as well as large extended family.

We will be honoring his life at Crown Hill Funeral Home on Thursday, March 18th with viewing starting at Noon followed by a memorial service @ 1:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hollis Adams Foundation in Ernie’s honor.
