EVERLINE was born September 9, 1929 in Arcola, Mississippi. She was the daughter of Am-mie Smith and Clarence Jackson. Her family moved to Indianapolis, Indiana where Everline met and married Marion Casey, Jr. Together they had three children, Marion Casey III, Mary Ann Vance and Jacqueline Brown.
EVERLINE attended primary school but circumstances at that time did not allow her to complete her education. However, she saw the need to finish her primary education and subsequently get her high school diploma at the age of 38 at Arsenal Technical high school with honors.
Prior to finishing her education, Everline worked at Mechanics Laundry. She was known for being outspoken and was elected as a union representative. Shortly after receiving her high school diploma, she secured a job at WM. H. Blocks in the Accounts Receivable department. She worked there until her retirement.
In 1973, Everline symbolized her dedication to Jehovah. She attended Fall Creek Congregation and Grandview Congregation of Jehovah’s
Witnesses. She served many years as a faithful servant and witnessed to others about her faith.
EVERLINE was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She loved to sew. During the assembly times, Everline was known for her clothing alterations for many of the friends. She loved to work in her yard and took pride in her flowers and garden. She also learned auto mechanics and upholstering. Everline especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
EVERLINE CASEY leaves behind to cherish her memory one son, Marion Casey III (Carolyn A.), two daughters, Mary Ann Vance and Jacqueline Brown (Garland); eight grandchildren, Corey E. Vance (Lydia), Ian M. Vance (Tasha), Jason L. Brown (Sandra), Jarrett A. Brown (Kimberly), Michael E. Casey, Marcus A. Casey (Latoya), Clarissa A. Kincy, and Madison O.
