Florence Bauman

Florence Marie Bauman, 90, passed away September 5, 2014. She was born in Indianapolis, IN on July 17, 1924 to Marie and Daniel E. Moran. She graduated from St. John’s Academy and worked for the Merchants’ Association. Florence was a member of TELLS, Fatima Retreat League, Guardian Angel Guild, Society of St. Vincent de Paul, St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, St. Augustine Guild and the Ave Maria Guild. She was past president of both the Cathedral Mothers’ Club and the Guardian Angel Guild. In 2008, she was named “Miss Douglas Lake”. Florence is survived by her daughters: Janet Bauman, Tampa, FL and Mary Beth Bauman, Cutler, OH; son: Mark E. Bauman, Bloomington, IN; and grandchildren: Matthew Boatman; Abigail and Joseph Hannah; Lynne, Evelyn and Lauren Bauman. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph A. Bauman and brothers Joe and Robert E. Moran. Visitation will be Thursday, September 11th, from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 12 at 10:00 am in St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Garden.
