Frances R. Rodefeld Fagan

92, of Indianapolis, passed away in her sleep on November 10, 2010. She was born Frances Ellen Rodefeld in Richmond, Indiana, to the late August and Ruby Rodefeld.

Fran was an avid reader and loved traveling the world. She also enjoyed golf, card games, cooking and spending time with her family. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Irvington for 59 years where she taught Sunday school and participated in many other activities.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Fagan; and three sisters, Jeanette Rodefeld, Virginia Druley and Amelia Meadows. Survivors include her son Pat Fagan; three grandchildren, Susie (Paul) Litke, Andy (Kate) Fagan and Jenny (Phillip) Scheffsky; and three great-grandchildren, Pete Litke, Jack and Julia Fagan.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 13, 2010, from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm at Christ Lutheran Church of Irvington, 345 North Kitley Avenue, Indianapolis. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm. Burial will take place at Washington Park North Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Fran may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
