82, of Indianapolis, passed away January 10, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. Freda was born March 18, 1934 in Frazier, Kentucky to the late Charles F. and Grace F. (Kennedy) Simpson. Freda worked at Community Hospital East with food service. She was a longtime and dedicated member of Little Flower Catholic Church. Freda is survived by her children: Guy L Blanchard, Karen F. (David) Morris, Susan J. (Don) Walker, Carol (T.J.) Hinds, Robin E. (Tony) Ambegia, and Diane L. (Bill) Wirey; sister, Nancy Pigman. and 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years Louis H. Blanchard, sister Doris Bolen and brother Frank Simpson. Visitation will be Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 2 – 5 PM in Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 16 at Little Flower Catholic Church.
