Gail R O'Rea

Gail attended Jefferson County public schools and graduated from Central High School. At a young age she received Christ and was baptized at Eastern Star Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky under the leadership of Rev. J.R. Gant. She was reborn and baptized in 2015 at Great Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles, California.

Gail was life herself, she lived life on her own terms. Overcoming many obstacles, Gail will always be known for tremendous strength and will power.

Gail loved music, singing and dancing.

Gail is preceded in death by her parents; Edward and Beulah O’Rea, and brother Eric O’Rea.

Gail departed this life on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Community East Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana. Left to cherish Gail’s sweet and wonderful memories are children; Derrick O’Rea (Tamika), Donna “Gail” O’Rea (James), Nicole Wallace (Earl), stepmother; Mary O’Rea, sisters; Beverly Brown, Sheila LeGrande` (Chris), Flora Campbell (Eddie), Karen Howard (Amos), brothers; Neal O’Rea (Sheila), Edward O’Rea Jr., grandchildren; Derrick O’Rea Jr., Robert L. Rose, DeShawn Moore, Kayla O’Rea, Gabriel O’Rea,

Shenquie O’Rea, Faith O’Rea, Atarah O’Rea, Jacob Lewis, Austin Wallace, Anada Wallace, Neia Wallace, 2 greatgrandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and many loving friends.
