Garrett William Poindexter 96 Of Indianapolis Passed away on April 7, 2011. He was a Machine Operator for Bridgestone (Firestone), retiring in 1979. He was a United States Army Veteran. He was married to Mable Poindexter on December 29, 1938. He was a Deacon of Mt Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church. His wife, and parents, Ernest and Mary Poindexter preceded him in death. He is survived by his son, Leroy Poindexter (Sarah), grandchildren, Sherry L. Isaac, Leroy, II (Rhonda) and Sharleigh Poindexter and 1 great grandchild, Tyron Poindexter. Services will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2011, 2 P.M. at Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home Peoples Chapel. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1 P.M.
