Gary Dean Downey, age 58, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024. Gary was born July 28, 1965 in Indianapolis, Indiana, son of the late Richard and Donna Downey.
Gary was a 1983 graduate of Arsenal Tech High School and was a machinist with Kimball Electronics Inc. for 31 years, retiring in 2020.
Gary is survived by his wife of 21 years, Pamela Downey; daughter, Kristina (Ronnie) Whitaker; sister, Tammy Shepherd; brothers, Donnie (Cindy) Roberts, Billy (Lori) Downey and Michael Jeffrey; grandchildren, Emma, Rylee, and Kaleb and 11 step-grandchildren; 7 nieces and nephews.
Gary was a loving and devoted husband, dad, papaw, and Uncle G, loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed.
