Keith was born on October 1, 1987, in North Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Steve and Nancy Artz.
Keith graduated from North Montgomery High School in 2006 and later earned his degree from Indiana State University. He had a deep love for Jesus, his family and friends, and, of course, the Green Bay Packers. Above all, Keith considered his greatest honors to be his role as Harper's father and his unwavering devotion to his faith in Jesus Christ.
Keith is survived by his daughter, Harper Artz; his dog, Tess; his parents, Steve and Nancy Artz; his brother, Rob (Brittany) Artz; his sisters, Katie Redman (Harv Riggle) and Beth Artz; his step-grandmother, Phyllis Nussbaum; and his nieces and nephews: Waylon, Camden, and Taylen Artz, Kylee and Kember Redman, and Brier Riggle.
A memorial gather will be held for Keith Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Westlake Church, 6696 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46214, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM with a memorial service at 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, Keith’s wish was for contributions to be made in his memory to Harper’s trust. Donations can be made by check to George Artz or via Venmo at @keep-fighting-keith (Last 4 digits: 8037).
The family would like to thank Dr. Nevel and her staff, IU Hospice team, and all of the friends and family that have prayed for and given support to Keith during his 9 year journey with brain cancer.
