

86, passed away February 27, 2012. George started working for Rough Notes Co. Inc. in 1942 as an apprentice printer and was promoted throughout his 52 years to Vice President in charge of software development, retiring in 1998.
He was a member of Glendale Christian Church, an amateur radio operator, Boy Scout Master for 16 years receiving the highest honor in 1968, the Silver Beaver Award and a WWII Merchant Marine veteran serving on a ship during the Normandy invasion.
George was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou (Louden) Hill. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia (Tom) Burks; sons, George (Sue) Hill, III and Donald (Sharon) Hill; sister, Norma "Elaine" Vinson; 6 grandchildren and 6 great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, March 2, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary , 2126 E. 71st St. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 3 at 10:00 a.m. in the mortuary.
