Gerhard Henry Hillebrand III

He was born on July 14, 1952, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Gerhard H. Jr. and Barbara L. Hillebrand. He was the former Vice President of Valley Bank in Las Vegas, Nevada, and a retired business owner in Baltimore, Maryland.

Gary enjoyed hiking and fishing and was a diehard fan of the Baltimore Ravens. Most of all, he cherished his time with his children and grandchildren. He was an eight-year veteran of the United States Navy, serving a tour in Vietnam.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara; his father, Gerhard; and his loving wife of 47 years, Pamela Hillebrand.

Gary is survived by his wife of five years, Linetta Hillebrand; his son, Dennis Hillebrand (Amanda); his daughter, Jennifer Hillebrand (Jodi); and his siblings, Linda Chermside, Catherine Vande Sande, and Edgar Hillebrand. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Dylan Hillebrand, Grace Krebs, Jonathan Hillebrand, and Caleb Hillebrand.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 10 a.m. until noon at Crosspointe Baptist Church, 220 Country Club Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46234, followed by a Celebration of Life at 12 noon.

Burial will be in West Ridge Park Cemetery, 9295 W 21st St., Indianapolis, IN 46234.
