German Antonio Escobar

German Antonio Escobar, age 63, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022. German was born in San Salvador, El Salvador to Petrona Escobar and Antonio Miranda. German was a popular DJ known as "DJ Sonido Magico." His friends and family will remember him for his open arms as he never turned anyone away. He was very hospitable and always willing to lend a hand as he was everyone's go to handy-man. German was mechanically inclined and could fix anything. His only weakness was being a good patient and getting his shots as he was afraid of needles. Otherwise he was the most caring tough guy around. Germans family and friends will love him forever and hold his memory close in their hearts.

German is survived by his children, Lissette Escobar and Marvin Escobar; the children's mother, Doris Murcia; father, Antonio Miranda; and siblings, Apolonia Estrada, Ines Garcia, Ana Escobar, Teresa Suarez, Lucia Escobar, Beneranda Escobar, Ricardo Escobar, and Cruz Antonio Escobar.

German was preceded in death by his mother, Petrona Escobar and siblings, Maria Antonia Escobar, Juana Escobar, and Carlos Escobar.

The family will gather Friday, December 16, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Family Funeral Care-Rockville West, 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224. His Funeral Service will begin at 12:30 PM at the funeral home with burial to follow in West Newton Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.
