Gleeta graduated from Shortridge High School and Central Business College. She married Robert M. Lane in 1941 and worked for the FBI while he served in the Navy during WWII.
Gleeta was a loving and generous mother and grandmother to their three sons, Chuck (Jan), Tom (Pam) and Jim (Claudette); seven grandchildren: Julie (Mike) Inman, Angie (Nick) Eoff, Kristen Hodge, Shelley (Greg) Schmelter, Justin Lane, Jonathan (Chrissy) Lane, Chuck Lane Jr.; and thirteen great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her son, Chuck.
