Gloria was the sweet and loving daughter of Joseph and Sally Yaver, niece of Gus and Bess Domont and Morris “Tiny” Epstein, cousin to Larry and Ronny Domont, sister of Rosanne Yaver, mother of Howard Green and Lori Walton, grandmother of Taylor Conley and Abigail Makela and great grandmother of Lincoln Makela and Brynn Conley.
She lived in Indianapolis attending Shortridge High School and attended Indiana University.
The greatest gift anyone can give is love. One thing I have always known for sure was that my mom loved us. She loved her family, dogs, sports, especially IU basketball, Chicago Cubs, Chicago Blackhawks, bowling and playing tennis. She loved going to movies and watching TV. She loved to travel going on many bus trips with her friend Kathryn. She loved all things Disney World and passed this love onto her son Howard who will now carry on that tradition.
She was always young at heart and never seemed to lose her childhood innocence that few of us ever hang onto. Most people described her as “such a sweet lady“ and that she was. Thank you for leaving the world with more love and kindness than it had before you were here.
