88, Indianapolis, passed away May 11, 2019. A graduate of both Southern Illinois and Butler Universities, Mrs. Jones taught within the Indianapolis Public School district for over 44 years, including IPS #43, IPS #60 and IPS #106. She was also a faithful member of Oasis of Hope Baptist Church.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her children, Sabae Martin, Evelyn Jones-Johnson and Brad Braxton; brothers, Acy Burris (Betty), Cornell Burris (Claryce) and Vernell Burris; and grandchildren, Eryca Johnson, Ganesha Martin and Gregory Martin, Jr.
