Gloria was first my mother-in-law, then my children's Mimi, and eventually the great grandmother to my grandkids. She relished all of this roles and was a devoted "Mimi". She suffered great loss in the passing of her husband, Harvey, in 1995 and then her daughter, Pam, in 2005. Yet her relationship to her Savior gave her the strength to endure.

She found peace and joy through her church family at St. Christopher's. She would always love sharing with me all of the wonderful celebrations at her church, and the warm friendships of people who were her support system. Gloria's legacy is manifested in her grandkids, and their families. She will be missed greatly but we are bolstered with the knowledge that she is home with Jesus, and reunited with Harvey and Pam!

While it is customary to say "rest in peace" when someone passes, anyone who knew the "energizer bunny" that Gloria was, will understand that there will be no resting time for her, because there is just so much to do! Gloria, enjoy being in glory! God is good all the time!

Such a lovely person. We shared a special bond in that she delivered Pam on July 11, 1951 at Methodist Hospital, the same day and place my mom delivered me. In high school, we met and became best friends which enabled friendship by association with Gloria, Harvey and Nancy.
Although I moved away from Indy when I was 25, I am so pleased Gloria and I were able to have lunch when I was home in September, 2019 for 50th HS Reunion and my brother's interment. She was delightful, as always. ;) Now, I am sure she is perfect in Heaven... rejoicing at being with Harv and Pami. Nancy, dear, you are so in my heart and prayers. love you...MEAN it! cd xox ;)

I have so many great memories from the past 30 years living next door to Gloria (and Harvey). Many evenings in the summer we would visit on each other's patios. We went to breakfast once a month with two other neighbors and we celebrated birthdays.
A few days after my mom died, Gloria came to my door and said "I think you could use a hug." She was a sweet and loving person and had a strong faith. Heaven has gained an angel but I was not ready to say goodbye. I will miss you, Gloria, but I know I will see you again.
