It is with heavy hearts that we remember and honor the life of our beloved Guadalupe Covarrubias, a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and woman whose life was defined by hard work, unconditional love, generosity, and unwavering faith in God.
Guadalupe was a hardworking woman who dedicated her life to providing for the people she loved. Her strength, determination, and selflessness were evident every day, as she continued working right up until the day of her bus accident that caused her to slow down. She never stopped giving, never stopped sacrificing, and never stopped doing everything in her power to ensure that her family was cared for. Her family was her greatest priority, and she expressed her love through her sacrifices, constant support, and the many ways she was always there for those she held dear.
She had a generous heart and a special way of making the people she loved feel supported and cared for. She loved deeply, gave wholeheartedly, and stood by her family through life’s challenges. Her love was more than words; it was reflected in everything she did to provide, protect, and bring happiness to those around her.
One of the sweetest memories her children will always treasure is the excitement of going shopping with their mother on the weekends when they were little. Guadalupe had a love for the finer things in life and appreciated the beauty of dressing well, finding something special, and enjoying life’s little luxuries. Those weekend shopping trips were more than just outings; they were precious moments spent together, memories filled with the simple joys of childhood and the love of a mother who wanted to share life’s pleasures with her children. Looking back, those moments have become priceless treasures, reminders of her personality, her tastes, and the special bond she shared with her family.
Guadalupe’s Catholic faith was the foundation of her life. She was a devoted Catholic who found comfort and strength in prayer, especially through the Holy Rosary. She faithfully prayed for the well-being, protection, and peace of others, always remembering her loved ones and those in need. Her prayers were a beautiful expression of her compassionate heart and her desire to see others safe, healthy, and blessed. Her faith guided her through life, and we find comfort in believing that she now rests in the loving presence of God and the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Though her passing leaves an immeasurable emptiness in the hearts of those who loved her, her legacy will live on through the family she worked so hard to provide for, the lives she touched, and the countless memories she leaves behind. We will remember her determination, her generosity, her love for the finer things in life, her cherished weekend shopping trips, and the prayers she offered so faithfully for others.
Guadalupe is survived by her beloved daughter, Maria Moreno; her beloved son, Juan Moreno; and her cherished grandson, Sebastian Rodriguez-Moreno. They will forever carry her love, her lessons, and her memory in their hearts.
Although we can no longer hold her hand, hear her voice, or spend another weekend shopping together, the love she gave us will never fade. Her sacrifices will never be forgotten, her prayers will always be remembered, and the beautiful memories she created will remain a part of us forever. A mother’s love does not end with her passing; it lives on in the hearts of her children and in every generation that follows.
May the Lord welcome Guadalupe into His eternal kingdom, reward her for a lifetime of love and sacrifice, and grant her the everlasting peace she so faithfully prayed for others.
Forever loved, forever missed, and forever in our hearts.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
