We always stopped and talked at the fence.  He always had kind words to say with a smile on his face.

Hearl and I grew up together on Davis Road on the east side of Indy and were the same age and class in Warren Township. He and his brothers and me and my brother all had countless years of fun riding bikes, yard football etc.
Me and my wife Jerri have fond memories of bowling in Greenwood  on weekends with Hearl and Chrissy many years ago.
Once the kids were all grown and out of the house Hearl and I became fishing buddies and a highlight was the day he was fishing with a chrome & blue Rattletrap lure and caught two bass one on the front treble hook and one on the back treble hook.  Many fond memories on the lake and without fail most of the conversation was Hearl bragging on his Granddaughters softball and other activities including fishing with them in his backyard pond...which from time to time I would keep fish I caught that day and would release into his beloved pond to help keep it stocked.
He was also a mechanic who took good care of all 4 of my family's vehicles.
I am very proud to call him a dear friend and will cherish my memories until I join him in Heaven.
May God Bless Chrissy, Corey, Ashley, Madisyn, Peyton, Lucy, and Mia during this difficult time of bereavement.

Chrissy hearl will be missed he was a good friend of mine I liked his laughs and conversation and he drive the tractor and plow the snow at lifepoint church he will be missed from Steven jackson

To the Herrod Family,
Hearl was a great neighbor to us on Stop 11. He always worked on our vehicles. Our boys played together every day. I remember sitting with Hearl while our boys were in karate class together. Thank you for being a part of our lives Hearl. You were a blessing. ❤️
