Passed away on September 28, 2013 at her residence.

Helen L. Fisher was born on February 7, 1946 the daughter of James R. Bruce and Sarah L. Hosley Bruce in Muncie, Indiana. She was a Clerk for Delco Electronics retiring after 34 years of service. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She was also on the Helping Hands Ministry, Nurses Committee, a previous N.A.A.C. P. member, A. Phillip Randolph, U.A.W. Local 292, Black Expo, Order of Eastern Star and the C.A.A.P. Council. She was an avid softball player and pianist.

Her parents preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Timothy V. Fisher, daughters, Nikia L. Lee, Stacy L. Story, Latisha M. Story, step daughter, Brandalyn Fisher, step son, Christopher Todd Fisher, brother, David W. Bruce (Elaine) of Sacramento, California, sisters, Dorothy E. Joseph (Jim), Felisa A. Davidson (Jerome)of Indianapolis, Indiana, 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a host of nieces & nephews.

Services will be held on Friday, October 4, 2013, 12 Noon at Mt Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Lonnie E. Anderson will be the officiant & eulogist. Friends may call on Friday from 10 A.M. at the church. Burial will be in Crown Point Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Bluitt & Son Funeral Home.
