

He attended Indianapolis Public Schools and pursued higher education at Westland University, where he earned a degree in Theology.
Henry was employed at Allison's Transmission for 39 years, where he retired from.
Henry was a quiet soul, but a master of all trades. He enjoyed playing chess, boxing, wrestling, cooking, arts and crafts, and watching old western movies.
Henry was baptized into Christ Old Westside Church of Christ under Dr. David E. Perkins, senior pastor.
Henry "Billy" Tunstall departed this life and was called home to glory on March 26th, 2026, at the age of 79.
Henry was preceded in death by his father HB Tunstall, and his mother, Mattie Tunstall. Sisters: Emma Macbeth-Mitchell, May Francis Tunstall-Morrow, Sylvia "Tippy Malone, and Brother: Calvin Dwayne Tunstall.
Henry leaves behind to cherish his memory: daughters Gloria Tunstall Roberts, Sherri Edwards, Henri "Neeka" Tunstall, and son, Johnny Williams; Sisters: Betty Ruth Tunstall, Brenda Tunstall, Vondetta Miller (James Miller, husband); Brothers: Michael Tunstall (Sabrina Tunstall, wife), and Gabriel Tunstall. Grandchildren: Marcus Roberts, James Roberts III, Stephen Roberts, Sherice Mack, and Trent Porter. Great-grandchildren: Ca'Shelle Harris, Carl Harris III, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Crown Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, Memorial Chapel, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46208, on April 10, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
