Mr. Cosby was preceded in death by his parents, spouse, Alice Cosby; five of his children: David Cosby, Steven Cosby, Regina Cosby, Verona Cosby and Donna Cosby and one four sibling, Lawrence Johnson. Mr. Cosby was a retired construction worker and was a United States Army Veteran.
He leaves to cherish his memory, children: Herbert E. Cosby and Rhonda Beck (Orlando); siblings: Clarence Cosby, David Cosby, Donald Cosby, Elmer Cosby, Carlton Cosby, Wanda Lacy and Davidteen Watson; one grandchild and 6 great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
His visitation is Friday, April 3, 2015, 10am - 12pm, with the service starting at 12pm at Captial City Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1801 E. 49th Street, Indianapolis. The entombment will immediately follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
