The Honorable Gurtha Mae Dickinson, 83, Indianapolis, transitioned from labor to reward at her home on January 17, 2017. She was a member of Zion HopeChurch. Ma Mae, as she was affectionately known, retired from General Motors Truck and Bus and was a Member of the Indiana House of Representatives, representing Indiana's 95th House District from 1993 to 2007.Mrs. Dickinson leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her wonderful life, children: Linda Burroughs (Hugh), Steven Dickinson (Cynthia) and Deborah Dickinson; 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.The visitation is Tuesday, January 24, 2017, 9am - 12pm, with the Homegoing Celebration at 12pm at Zion HopeChurch, 5950 E. 46th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46226.
