

of Indianapolis, affectionately known to many as "Patsy," passed away in the arms of Walter R. Leslie, her loving husband, companion and best friend for over 35 years.
Ida was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 27, 1942. She was the daughter of Tommie and Violet Bush Jones. Ida attended IPS Crispus Attucks High School. She spent her working career at Ford Motor Company and Specialty Coating Systems. She retired from Specialty Coating Systems in 2004 after 16 years of service. In her leisure time, Ida loved taking care of her family, cooking, listening to music, watching �"Joel Osteen Ministries,†and her favorite TV westerns.
Ida was preceded in death by her parents, Tommie and Violet Jones; daughter, Carmon Ann Summers; and god-grandchild, Kandace N. Pyles.
Ida leaves to cherish her precious memory her husband, Walter R. Leslie; brother, Franklin Delano Roosevelt Jones (Rosetta); sister-in-law, Paulina Jones; children, Tammi J. Clark, Natalie L. Smith (Brett), Cellenar R. Clark (Derrick), Darlene E. Mason, Darrell E. Mason (Shar’ron), Doris A. Horton; son-in-law, Kevin E. Summers; 10 grandchildren, Kevin L. Summers, Troy N. Summers, Joy L. Summers, Saundra L. Mason, Racena M. Shively, Roderick M. Shively, Kelley M. Smith, Breonna M. Jones, Myla A. Mason, Michaela E. Campbell; 13 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
