

Irene Frances Kramer Dinnin passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 21st after a long battle with heart disease and a stroke. Irene was born on February 2nd 1938 in Dayton, OH. She attended Holy Angels Catholic grade school, Chaminade-Julienne Catholic High School, and was a Home Economics graduate of the University of Dayton, where she met her loving husband of 51 years, Mike.
Irene was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church in Birmingham, MI for 37 years, where she raised her children, before retiring to Indianapolis, IN with Mike, where they joined St. Luke Catholic Church.
Irene enjoyed life! Especially her husband, children, grandchildren, family and friends! Her health condition did not take away her loving spirit or her enjoyment for cooking shows and sharing meals with family and friends. Irene was an accomplished tennis player and skier. She loved her family vacations on Lake Michigan at Palisades Park (near South Haven). Irene also loved watching football on TV as her older brother, Tony, was an umpire in the NFL for over 15 years.
Irene is preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Grace (Makley) Kramer; brother, Anthony Kramer; sister, Roselyn Kramer Frericks; daughter, Margaret and sons, Robert and Joseph. She is survived by her husband, Michael Dinnin, Jr.; three daughters, Rosemary Dinnin, Elizabeth Farrall (Greg), Catherine Robinson (Matt); five grandchildren, Grace, Samantha, and Cooper Farrall, Margaret and Caroline Robinson; her sister, Emma Kramer Voigt Matthews and sister-in-law Elizabeth Kramer. Irene will be missed!
Visitation will be on Monday, March 26th from 4-8pm at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary. A Funeral Mass to celebrate Irene’s life will be Tuesday, March 27th at 11:00 AM in St. Luke Catholic Church.
