Jack W. Crabtree,
81, of Indianapolis, departed this life February 6, 2013. He was born in Charleston, WV on November 4, 1931 to Frank and Ruth (Dorsey) Crabtree. Jack proudly served his country during the Korean War in the United States Air Force. He worked for Ford Motor Company for 42 years, retiring in 1998. Jack was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He enjoyed golf, bowling, table tennis and especially dancing with the best of partners for the past 56 years, his beloved wife, Barbara J. (Conlin) Crabtree. Jack is also survived by his loving sons, Mark (Cathy), Mathew, Kyle (Janessa) and Chris (Vera) Crabtree; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass for Jack will be celebrated today, February 9th, 2013 at 12:30PM in Holy Spirit Catholic Church, (7243 E. 10th St.) with calling there beginning at 11:30AM. Inurnment will follow at a later date at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association Greater Indiana Chapter.
