73, passed away at his home surrounded by family on April 23, 2014. Jack was born to Jack and Frances Hempel Unland on February 8, 1941 in Jacksonville, Illinois. He started his career as Manager of the Meat Department for A&P Food Stores. From 1974 - 1987 he owned and operated Pair of Jacks Restaurant. Jack was employed by Tom O'Brien Chrysler/Jeep for the past 27 years. He was preceded in death by his mother Frances (Hempel) Unland and son, Todd L. Unland. Survivors include his father, Jack L. Unland (Norma), brother, Jerry Unland (Ron Gibson), children Terri Mossbrucker (Mike), Tonda Mucho (Scott), Troy Unland (Donna), eleven grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, stepbrother Rick Macci, stepsister Toni Wombold (Ken). Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until time of services at 4:00 PM at Family Funeral Care on Saturday, April 26, 2014. Memorial contributions can be made to the Kidney Foundation.
