He leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife, Hattie Bass, sons, Frank A. Tompkins, Gregory A. Tompkins, Jerry L. Bond, daughters, Carol E. Tompkins, Flora M. Heard, Vanessa Bass- Smith, Ernestine K. King, sisters, Irene Smith, Anna Ruth Turner, 20 grandchildren , 73 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
His calling will take place on Friday, May 16, 2014, 10am- 11am, with the Memorial Service commencing at 11am at Baltimore Street Church of God.
