He is survived by his daughters, Kristina Dawson and Abigail Dawson; his grandchildren Alexis (Justin) Washington, Cameron Dawson, Tyler Dawson, and Oliver Lee; and two great-granddaughters Violet and Ivy Washington. He is also survived by his sister, Diane Dawson, and brother, Mike Dawson.
Rick was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda (Kebert) Dawson, his daughter Jennifer Lynn Dawson, and his parents, James and Joyce Dawson.
A visitation will be held at Family Funeral Care, located at 5791 Rockville Road, Indianapolis, IN, 46224, on October 20, 2025, from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm.
A graveside service will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery, located at 700 W. 38th Street, Indianapolis, IN, 46208, on October 20, 2025, starting at 2:00 pm.
