James Harold Edwards Jr.

James Harold Edwards, Jr, 64, of Indianapolis, passed away on July 24,2021 in Indianapolis. James was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to James Harold Edwards, Sr. and Doris Lee Edwards on June 26, 1957. He attended Indianapolis Public Schools. He graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1975. He professed a hope in Christ and was baptized at St. John AME Church at an early age. James enjoyed attending the Men’s Sunday School class at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church. James was preceded in death by his parents, James H. Edwards, Sr and Doris L. Edwards and brother, Michael D. Edwards. James is survived by his children, James H. Edwards, III and Anthony D. Edwards (Candace), three brothers, Terry L., Kevin E. and Rodney, four sisters, Jean A., Marian D., Tonya D. and Charisse D., fourteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. followed by funeral services at 11:00 A.M., Friday, July 30, 2021 at Crown Hill Funeral Home with the Timothy G. Taylor of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
