82, Indianapolis - passed away peacefully on December 26, 2011. Born November 8, 1929 in Stirrat, West Virginia to the late James H. and M. Edna Goodson.
JC worked in the coal mines and local movie theater in Stirrat. He later joined the US Marine Corps and served as a tank commander as Sergeant in the Korean War. While in the Marines, JC's family moved to Indianapolis where he joined them after the war. JC went to work at Western Electric as a machine operator. He retired from Western Electric after 33 years of service.
JC married Crystal F. Goodson in 1962 and is survived by his Son James (Jimmy), Granddaughter Jaycie (his namesake), Brothers Mason (Dallas), Ronald, and Samuel (Jack).
He was preceded in death by his Parents, James H. and M. Edna Goodson, Sisters Mary Lee and Ruth (Rebecca); Brothers Billy Joe, Frederick (Freddy), and his Lord Jesus Christ.
