James Edward Gray Sr.

James Edward Gray Sr. 79 was born, January 18, 1941 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Hubert Gray Sr. and Dorothy Watts Gray. James was 1 of 7 children. James graduated from Crispus Attucks. He gave his life to Christ at an early age. He joined the United States Army in 1959 and he retired from the UTC in 2003. James married Rita Clemons on October 6, 1984 and shared 36 years together. James enjoyed fishing, working in the yard, being with his dogs and spending time with his family. He was an avid clearance shopper of Walmart. James departed this life on October 25, 2020. He is preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. James leaves to cherish his life, wife, Rita Gray; daughters, Darlene, Dawn, Krystal and Keana; sons, James Jr., Kenneth and Tywann; brother, Ralph Gray; grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Visitation for James Edward Gray Sr. will be held 12 - 2pm, Friday, November 6, 2020 at Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home Peoples Chapel, 5252 E. 38th St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46218.
