With much sorrow I found out today that one of my favorite former employees; Jim Hoffmeyer had passed away. I had planned to contact him several times over the years, and was very sorry to hear of his passing! Jim was one of my great employees at Tyler/EMS ! He helped to build our company into a major corporation in the supermarket controls industry. As a Christian I know I can thank him one day and we can catch up on how he continued to live his life! Still miss you Dad. Seems like yesterday that we were talking. I miss our daily conversations...I miss your advice, even tho I didn't always take it. Miss your laugh and your quick and dry wit.

Uncle Jim,
I will miss you for the vapor of time left on this earth, but I am secure in the hope of seeing you again. I enjoyed the way you spoiled your niece and nephews when we lived next door. Playing pool in grandpa's basement. Holding the flashlight for you while you worked, though it usually ended up pointing in your eyes. Some of your antics got us both in hot water, but they remain among my favorite memories. Your visit to Raleigh just a few years ago brought back a flood of memories of simpler happy times. I love you and miss you.  Until we meet again.

Everyday, I think of the conversations we will miss but I'm still speaking to you.  I know you are no longer in pain so that is a comfort.  I miss you with all my heart.  Your loving daughter, Wendy

Karen....I was so sorry to hear of Jim's passing.  I haven't seen you guys for so many years but Patty always keeps me up to date on you and your family.  I will never forget being in your wedding...I still have pictures of that day.....you and Jim had a beautiful wedding, and a lovely life and family. I want to express my own expression of sorrow and sympathy at the loss of Jim. He held a special place in my heart through DeMolay, Masonry, Business and being the brother of the finest big sister one could ever have. His love and devotion to family and friends was legendary. We will be recounting times and events of endearment for years to come. In other words; he will be fondly remembered as long as I am able to remember.

Dixie and I were out of town and arrived home last evening and saw the paper as to your tremendous loss. I am sorry we missed Jim's service. Jim and Brian serviced our local grocery for many years and Jim was an outstanding man. He was always so honest and positive and always did an excellent job. He was a man of greatest intergity and honesty. His memory will live on forever.

I have known Jim for many years as he has been coming in to Duncan Supply for a very long time and I have had the pleasure of waiting on him many times. He was a very good refrigeration tech and a wonderful man who was very proud of his family. He was a very kind man and yes, he had a great sense of humor.  Brian, you did well following his very big footprints. He will be missed.

 I wish I could have spent more time with you. You were such a good man and could always make me laugh. Thank you for the wonderful memories. I will miss you very much but I will see you again one day. I love you Uncle Jim.

Uncle Jim,
I will always cherish the many fond memories, numerous flights back and forth from Indy to Florida, the power window battles in your car, (and I just heard I probably played a factor in you having to get them repaired "Sorry") your great sense of humor, you thinking sand dunes were snow, and losing your voice due to nightmares, your devout dedication to your Lord and to your family. Uncle Jim you may be gone but I will always remember you.

I never knew you Jim but you have a wonderful son who is a good friend to me.  Prayers all around for your loved ones

I am so sorry for your loss.  My prayers are with the entire family during this difficult time.

Cousins hold a special place in our hearts.  They are like brothers and sisters to us.  I know Jim was a brother to many and "like a brother" to many, many more.
