

James was educated in the Texas public school system. He graduated from Ellison High School in Killeen, Texas, in 1996. He later moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, in 1999. James attended J and C Truck Driving School in Opelika, AL, and later drove trucks for a period of time. He also completed a Culinary Arts Course, as well as a Work Maturity Skills Course.
Although James was not united with a local church, he had professed a hope in Christ as his Savior.
James was known to be a Mama's Boy. He was the love and joy of his mother's, Veronica's, life.
MR. JAMES A. LEAK, JR. passed into Eternal Life on Monday, July 12, 2010, at the age of Thirty-Three Years, Four Months, and One Day.
James was preceded in death by his grandmother, Delores Gladney, grandfather, George Gladney, and aunt, Carmen Gladney. He leaves to cherish his precious and loving memories his mother, Veronica Leak-Percell (Richard Bellamy), Indianapolis, Indiana, father, James A. Leak (Stacee), Guam, Japan, two sisters, Fataima Farley and Ebone Garden, overseas, three aunts, Sherrlyn Murray (Charles), Teresa Walker, and Linda Gladney, two uncles, Tony Gladney and George Gladney, Jr, all of Killeen, Texas, and a host of cousins and friends, who will all miss him dearly.
