He leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife, Ceola L. Patterson, sons, James Patterson Jr, Christopher (Tyrell) Patterson, step-son, Jessie Parker, step-daughters, Luciania Poge, Tencia Parker, host of grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, brothers, Johnnie E. Patterson, Richard G. Patterson, sisters, Shirley A. Brown (Joe), Annie V. Moye (John), Gloria Patterson, Ivon McCloud (Robert) and a host of extended family and friends.
His visitaton will take place on Saturday, May 10, 2014, 10am- 11am, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 11am. His burial will take place in New Crown Cemetery.
