James L. Richardson, 68, Indianapolis, transitioned from labor to reward on February 9, 2016.He was a United States Army Veteran andPurple Heart recipient. James was also a retiree of Allison/General Motors.He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. Annie Norse Richardson and Mrs. Gladys White Richardson and siblings: Annie Norse Richardson, Jr., Billy Richardson, Eddie Richardson, Walter Richardson and Brenda Weathers.James leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his life, wonderful and loving wife, Annie Richardson; children: Christine Pounds, Tiffany Richardson and Jamie Richardson; siblings: Herman Richardson, Paul Richardson, Peter Richardson, Gary Richardson, Gertrude Bledsoe, Sadie Kinchlow and Bessie Crayton; 4 grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends. The visitation is Saturday, February 20, 2016, 9am - 11a, with the Homegoing Service commencing promptly at 11am in Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home, Peoples Chapel. The interment will immediately follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
