68, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 6, 2014. He was born February 4, 1946 in Manhattan New York to Christian and Elizabeth Schrader. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked at Lilly Industrial Coatings in quality control. He was a member of Knights of Columbus St Joseph Council # 5290 and the American Legion. Jim is survived by his children, Kristi and Kevin Schrader. He is preceded in death by his brother, Christian Schrader. Funeral services will be Friday September 12 at 12 p.m. at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary . Visitation will be Friday from 10 am - 12 p.m. Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery. A celebration of Jim's life will follow at the Knights of Columbus St. Joseph Council. In lieu of flowers memorials in Jim's name may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
