96, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 5, 2016. Jim was born September 9, 1920 in Jasper, IN the son of the late Herman and Guila Schuler. He worked for Chrysler as a fire chief for 20 years, retiring in 1979. He was a member of Nativity Catholic Church a longtime member of the K of C and a WW II Army Air Corp. veteran serving in Africa and Sicily, Italy. He is survived by his daughters, Sandra Robinson and Kathy (Tony) Lee; sons, Jimmy, Jr. (Mary Lou), Eugene (Donna) Schuler; 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Leona Schuler; daughters, Mary Schuler and Susan Ritter; son, Philip Schuler. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Nativity Spirit Catholic Church Thursday, Nov. 10th, at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior to Mass at the Church.
