89, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully August 16, 2017. Jim was born March 19, 1928 in Indianapolis, IN the son of the late Paul and Lee Thrasher. He was a clerk for 44 years with Belt Railroad and retired in 1988 from Conrail. Jim graduated from Manual High School, attended Butler University before going on to serve in the U.S. Army rifle Corps during the Korean War. He is survived by his sisters; Betty Fisher and Madonna Quick, step-daughter; Connie Johnston, 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wives: Ingrid, Ruby, Virgie and Betty. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 19th, at 4:00 pm in the Little & Sons Funeral Home Stop 11 Chapel with visitation from 2:00 until time of service.
