

James Turner, Jr. passed away on January 2, 2014. He was born on February 17 1932 to Estella Stewart and Allen Turner, in Hickman, Kentucky.. His parents and Brother Joe Turner preceded him in death.
James was a United States Air force Veteran, retiring in 1973 after 25 plus years of service. He was previously employed as a Machine Operator for Chrysler Corporation, retiring in 1998 after 25 years of service.
James was a member of Wayman Chapel A.M.E. Church. He was also a member of the A.Philip A. Randolph Institute and Lay Male Choir.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Queen Turner, 4 daughters, Renita Jeanette Turner of South Bend, Renee Yvette Jenkins of Detroit, Michigan, Robbie Lynn Schaefer (Stanley) of St Louis, Missouri, Terene Louise Davis of O’Fallon, Missouri, 4 sons, Roy Lee Turner (Sharon) of Denver, Colorado, Carl Dwayne Turner of East Saint Louis, Illinois, Reginald Perry (Cheryl) of Detroit, Michigan, Shawn Guy Willis (Jonell) of Fort Wayne, Indiana, 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Services will b held on Saturday, January 11, 2014, 11 A.M. at Wayman Chapel A.M.E. Church, 920 Apperson Way, Kokomo. Pastor Louis Parham will be the officiant and eulogist.
