Janet M. Hoade

Janet M. Hoade (Lady) was born May 1, 1957 to Ovena E. Hoade and John Hoade, Sr. She attended Indianapolis Public Schools and graduated from The Art Institute of Atlanta, and Indiana Business College with three Masters’ Degree. Janet Hoade (Lady) accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was baptized at Shilo Missionary Baptist Church. She then later became a member of St. Phillips Episcopal Church. Janet later joined New Haven Missionary Baptist Church. Janet was known for her exquisite taste in beauty and Fashion Design, and a lover of the Finer Arts. Janet was self-employed for a while with her own Fashion Design business. Later, and for the remainder of her life, she was employed in the high-end Fashion Retail business. Janet M. Hoade departed this earthly plane and ascended to heavenly reward on September 17, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Hoade Sr and Ovena E. Hoade; sister, Tammy M. Hoade; niece, Angelic Sanders; sister-in-law, Delores Taylor, and very special First Cousin, Angeline Payne. Left to cherish her legacy of love are her sister, Robin Hoade; brothers, Phillip Hoade, John Hoade, Jr. and Reginald Taylor, Sr.; nieces, Shea Woodard, Gabrielle Nelson, and Patricia Hoade; nephews, Cameron Nelson, Reginald Taylor, Jr., John “JC" Hoade, Briant Lewis, Gage Hoade, and Jeremiah Newton. Janet has also left to cherish her legacy a host of family and friends. Service for Janet will be held, 12:00 pm, Saturday, October 3, 2020, at Williams and Bluitt Funeral Home Peoples' Chapel, 5252 E. 38th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, with visitation from 10:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm, all taken place at Williams and Bluitt Funeral Home.
