Member of NU Destiny Christian Church.Employed at The Damien Center as a Linkage to Care Specialist who was loved by all who knew her. Preceded in death by parents Leon and Lillie Shanks.Janice leaves to cherish her memories son Rickey Shanks (Monique); daughters Markina Sharkey (Quan), Jimetra Shanks (Robert); brothers George and Al; sister Phyllis, 13 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Home going service Thursday May 17, 2018, 12pm Noon at Friendship MBC, 1301N.
